Street Child - Craft Half Marathon
There was a lot of buzz around the event in the weeks leading up to the race with local press and the Evening Standard getting in on the action but the day itself surpassed all expectations.
Hop Stuff were the official beer sponsor and provided cans of delicious craftos every two miles for runners to refresh and engage in a bit of chat. There was a buzzing atmosphere at the start-finish line courtesy of Putney and Wimbledon Brass band .
Post race, runners were welcomed into the (heated!) Halfter Party tent by local band Don’t Look Now playing classic covers and offering runners the perfect opportunity to dance out any tension in the legs! Sizzling street food traders from Street Child’s partner Kerb were on hand to provide some well-earned carbs and Hop Stuff served up more pints of craft beer.
